Train job?

First of all my apologies for being too busy to seach or hunt down through all the posts if this has been done. I haven't had time to read too far back in all the posts. I have a question. My fiance and I were passing some vintage trains the other day and he said, with all the museums and vintage houses renting out for weddings and things, do you think they'd rent out the trains?

Which brought up the thing about it being near Halloween again and the party train in Japan. Apparently a bunch of gaijin get dressed up in costumes and stay on the train while it goes around until they get booted off at 2 am or something.

Has anyone in the fandom yet planned anything of the sort? Someone mentioned a snakes on the train job event on the Black Market Beagles t-shirts?

Edit: Firefly moment in real life. I was standing next to a coworker today and she managed to jam up the printer. She said "Ai Yaa, this thing is screwed." I blinked and nearly said something about her being a Firefly fan? Then I remembered that she's from Kowlon and just smiled like an idiot and went about my business.

Lil' info on the Yahoo Sketchbook cover...

I'm inking the Yahoo Group Sketchbook as we speak and I wanted to let everyone in on who will be appearing on it...

Devilknight from my animated/comic series "The D'VilKnights", "M" from my Mini-Series of the same name...

... and the NON-Tom Hodges creation to be featured on the cover:

Kara Thrace "Starbuck" from Battlestar Galactica. No worries, there will be loads of Star Wars, Buffy and Firefly/Serenity goodness to fill up the rest of the book!

If you haven't joined the group yet and want in on the sketchbook, today is the last day to pre-order.

I will reveal the cover to the Yahoo group later today.

Burma Shave-style advertising

Games Browncoats play...

A fun little something we did on FFF a while back. Anybody ever hear of (or actually remember) those jaunty Burma-Shave advertisements that were posted on roadsides back in the 50's? Well, those little ditties are great fun to make up - and even more so in the name of that TV show we all love so much. Soooo...
